There is a lady who's name I've been watching closely these past few months.  Her name is Donna Crain.

Based in Surrey, Donna Crain specialises in creating the loveliest vintage inspired wedding veils, headbands, accessories and jewellery, drawing inspiration from iconic legends of screen and stage and her love of all things vintage.

Donna comes form a long line of designers in her family, that include tailors, shoe designers and dress designers, and so it seemed a natural progression for her to follow suit...

What drew me to Donna initially was seeing her expertly crafted headpieces at last season's Designer Wedding Show. And what's really catching my attention now, are her exquisite vintage inspired veils and headpieces.  Are these not some of the loveliest and most elegant wedding veils you ever did see?

The veil above there is the Amelia veil - a structured Juliet Cap with a single layer of gathered veil.  The cap structure of the Amelia veil is created in ivory satin and ivory French lace - simply exquisite.

The veil below is the Clarissa veil - a one layer veil with stunning lace headband. It can be created in any colour of silk with a choice of ivory lace edging...

B elow, in all it's resplendence, is the Grace Kelly veil - a structured Juliet cap veil, the cap element created in a moon shape, which can be overlaid in any fabric...

And the beautiful Roslyn veil, which can be created in any colour with any edging on the cap section. An edging can also be added to the sides of the veil. It is available in standard veil shape or handkerchief design.  Perfection!

Aside from her very beuatiful veils, Donna has recently launched some beautiful new headpiece designs.  Let's take a look at some of them.
